Vidalia Pulled Pork Sandwiches Recipe
- 1 (3 pound) boneless pork shoulder roast, cut into 4 sections, seasoned with salt and pepper
- 12 ounces root beer
- 6 large Kaiser rolls
- Slow Cooker
- Place pork in a 6-quart or larger multi-cooker. Add root beer and Vidalia Onion Dressing.
- Set multi-cooker to Pressure Cooker on HIGH for 60 minutes. When done, allow a 10 minute natural release, then continue with a quick release of pressure.
- Shred meat and toss with cooking liquid. Serve meat in Kaiser rolls.
Makes 6 servings.
Serve with waffle fries and coleslaw.
Make Ahead & Freeze: Place step 1 ingredients in a gallon freezer bag. Seal well, label and freeze. Thaw completely. Continue with step 1.
Slow Cooker Option: Following directions above, assemble step 1 in a 3-quart or larger slow cooker. Cook on HIGH 5-6 hours or LOW 8-10 hours. Continue with step 2.
