Sweet Potato and Chicken Stew Recipe
Stir up this quick and easy alternative to beef stew.
- 4 cups hot water
- 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 4-5 stalks celery, diced
- 4 cups peeled, cubed sweet potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Slow Cooker
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large greased slow cooker. Cook on low 5-6 hours or until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Makes 6 servings. Tip: Serve in large or mini Bountiful Beer Bread bowls.
