Spiced Autumn Trifle 2 Recipe
This is the perfect trifle - decadent chocolate and hints of cozy fall spices.
- ¾ cup (1½ sticks) melted butter
- 1 cup water
- 3.4 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 8 oz. whipped topping, thawed
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Prepare Classy Chocolate Pound Cake as directed on package with butter and water; cool completely. Cut pound cake into cubes or slices. Combine pudding mix and milk; whisk 2 minutes; fold in whipped topped and pumpkin pie spice. Layer cake cubes and pudding mixture in a clear glass bowl or individual cups. Chill until ready to serve (within 1-2 hours). Serves 10-12
