  • 1 packet Bold Burgerâ„¢ Seasoning
  • 3 lb. beef chuck roast
  • ¼ cup water

Coat roast in seasoning. Place in a greased slow cooker; add water. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Makes about 6-8 servings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was great! Here's a full flavor full fat version :-) Don't add water! Coat roast with packet of seasoning and then put half stick of butter on top (or a full stick for large 5 pound roast)... Put some banana peppers on top to roast down with it...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Beef Roast EVER! WOW! This roast blew me away. It was so flavorful and I agree with other review that one could probably get nearly as much flavor from half a packet. I will be stocking up on this throughout the spring/summer season and hoarding to last in fall/winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! Since I had been wowed by the meatballs I made using this seasoning I could not wait to try the recipe on the box for a slow cooked roast! The house smelled amazing all afternoon and everyone in my boyfriend's family kept commenting about how great it smelled. We were not disappointed at dinner time, even his picky 10 yr old daughter asked for seconds! Since the chuck roast I had was only 2.5 lb, I only used about half the packet of seasoning and I did use about 2 cups on beef stock in place of the water as I knew we'd be making hot roast beef sandwiches and would want more broth/gravy. Despite using less seasoning and more liquid this was still full of flavor!
