Philly Steak & Cheese Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Heat Avocado Oil over medium-high heat. Add onions; sautè until translucent. Cut steak into really thin strips and add to onions; add 1 tablespoon Ultimate Steak™ Seasoning. Sautè, stirring often, until steak is no longer pink.

Preheat oven to 375°. Cut bell peppers in half and remove seeds and ribs. Place cut-side-up on a greased, foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle a layer of cheese in the bottom of the peppers, followed by a layer of onion and meat mixture. Top with remaining cheese. Bake approximately 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Tip: If you prefer a softer pepper, add a small amount of water to the bottom of the pan and cover with foil. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes of cooking to brown the cheese slightly.

I haven't had a philly for quite awhile & this keto friendly version is just what my taste buds needed. Hubby & I like our peppers softer, so I baked them for 45 minutes total. We will surely have these again & again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Flavor! My family absolutely raved about this dinner. I actually ran out of mozzarella to top the cups with, so I used american cheese. Gave it a new flavor, but the meat flavoring was out of this world!
