Pesto Turkey Breast Recipe
This pesto turkey breast is super moist and full of flavor.
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup chopped carrots
- ½ cup sliced celery
- 6-7 lb. bone-in turkey breast, thawed
- Slow Cooker
Prepare Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto Mix according to package directions using water and oil. Set aside. Place chicken broth, carrots, celery and Onion Onion™ Seasoning in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker. Carefully lift skin away from turkey breast. Rub pesto under skin and all over turkey breast. Place turkey in slow cooker. Cook on low 5-6 hours or until internal temperature of turkey reaches 170°. Remove turkey from slow cooker and let rest 10 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
