Macaroon Brownie Nests Recipe
Adorable “nests” made with fudgy brownies, sweet coconut and chocolate candy eggs … perfect for Easter!
- ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 14 oz. bag flaked coconut
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg white
- Candy-coated chocolate eggs for garnish
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl. Line muffin tins with paper liners; fill half-full with brownie batter. In a separate bowl, combine coconut, sweetened condensed milk and egg white; spoon into muffin tins, gently spreading over brownie layer. Bake 18-22 minutes. Cool in pan about 5 minutes; transfer to cooling racks. While still slightly warm, lightly press 2-3 candy eggs into the center of each nest. Makes 14-16 nests.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrs Mom from Perfect for Easter I made these last year for Easter and they made a gorgeous presentation - of course, everyone loved them. Planning to make again this year, so I've got this recipe saved in my recipe box (online).
