Ingredients
- 1 package Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix™
- ¾ cup water
- ¾ cup applesauce
- 1 large egg
- 1½ cups skim milk
- 1 (1 ounce) package sugar-free vanilla-flavored instant pudding mix
- 1 (8 ounce) container zero-sugar frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
Directions
- IMPORTANT: Our Pound Cake Formulas have changed. If your box has the maroon logo and NO egg in the preparation directions, follow the 2nd set of directions below.
- Prepare Absolutely Almond Pound Cake Mix according to package directions using water, applesauce and egg. Cool completely. Cube.
- In large bowl, combine milk and pudding mix; whisk 2 minutes. Fold in whipped topping until well combined.
- In a trifle dish, large glass serving bowl, or individual trifle bowls, layer half the cake cubes, half the pudding mixture and half the berries. Repeat layers.
- Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour.
