Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Onion Dip Recipe

  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1¾ tablespoons (or 1 Dinner Mixer packet) Onion Onion Seasoning
  • 3 medium fresh sweet potato yams, scrubbed clean
  • Olive oil spray

  1. In small bowl, combine first 3 ingredients. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
  2. Pierce potatoes in several spots with a fork. Place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on HIGH 5-7 minutes, or until fork tender but not overcooked. Let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare grill to medium heat. Slice potatoes ½-inch thick. Spray potatoes with olive oil spray. Sprinkle with desired amount of salt and pepper.
  4. Place potatoes on grill. Grill, turning occasionally, until browned and desired doneness, about 6-8 minutes. Serve with onion dip.
