Greek Chicken Skewers Recipe
Colorful and yummy, these skewers will be a family hit.
- ½ cup beer
- 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 green peppers, cut into pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into wedges
- 15 grape tomatoes
- 3-4 small red potatoes, cut into pieces
- 6-8 (8-10 inch) skewers*
Combine first 2 ingredients in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal and shake vigorously. Add chicken to bag, turning to coat. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Preheat grill. Alternate chicken with vegetables on each skewer. Grill skewers over medium heat for about 9 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through. Makes 6-8 servings. *If using wooden skewers, soak in water at least 30 minutes before use.
