Gorgonzola and Olive Cheese Ball Mix Preparation Recipe
Creamy Gorgonzola, green olives and sweet tomatoes will whisk you away to the Italian countryside.
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp. water
Combine ingredients. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Shape into a ball. Makes about 12 servings. Lighten it up: use light cream cheese instead. Fat-free will not set up properly. More ways to mix it up! - Serve with fresh veggies, crackers or cubes of Bountiful Beer Bread. - Add 1 Tbsp. diced green olives in place of water. - Stuff cheese ball into mini sweet peppers. - For a cold tip, combine cheese ball mix with ½ cup mayonnaise and ½ cup sour cream. Chill 2 hours. - For a creamy pasta sauce, combine cheese ball mix with 8 oz. cream cheese and 1½ cups milk in a saucepan; heat gently until smooth.
