  • Gluten-Free Beer Bread Mix
  • 12 oz. carbonated beverage (gluten-free beer or soda)
  • 1 egg*
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 3 ingredients; whisk until smooth. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Drizzle with melted butter if desired. Bake 45-55 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes about 13 servings. *Egg substitute may be used. High Altitude: Add an additional egg. Bake at 375° for 45-55 minutes. More Ways To Mix It Up! Makes excellent grilled cheese sandwiches, toast or croutons. For mini-loaves, reduce bake time by 10-15 minutes.

With a rare food allergy, I have to be careful with what I eat, as there are hidden allergens in most everything and bread was what I missed most. Instead of drizzling the butter on top, I melted it and added into the mix. I also made this with a can of Coke instead of beer and it was absolutely amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buttery GF Bread! This bread was surprisingly very good for GF bread! The additional butter drizzled on top made is so good! I also used a can of Sprite instead of a GF beer, I actually like it better this way.
