Frozen Grasshopper Dessert Squares Recipe

  • 14.3 oz. pkg. chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 6 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 cups whipping cream, divided
  • Grasshopper Frozen Drink Mix
  • 2 drops green food coloring
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3-4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • Mint cookies or chocolate shavings

Preheat oven to 350°. In a gallon resealable freezer bag crush cookies into crumbs using a rolling pin. In large bowl combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press evenly into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake 15 minutes; cool completely. In a large bowl beat 2 cups whipping cream on high until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in Grasshopper Frozen Drink Mix, food coloring and chocolate chips; beat until stiff peaks form. Spread on top of crust and freeze 4 hours or until firm. Remove 15 minutes before serving. Beat 1 cup whipping cream, stir in sugar and top each dessert piece with a dollop of whipped topping and a mint cookie or chocolate shavings.
