Balsamic & Basil Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe
Tomatoes and provolone melted together in the perfect hot and cheesey sandwich, spread with Dried Tomato and Garlic.
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 8 deli slices provolone cheese
- 8 slices sandwich bread
- 8 thin slices fresh tomato
Prepare Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto as directed on jar with olive oil and water; set aside. Place 1 slice cheese on each of 4 slices bread. Spread 1/2 tablespoon Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto over cheese; top with 2 tomato slices. Place second slice of cheese over tomatoes; top with second slice of bread. Brush Balsamic & Basil Dipping Oil on outsides of sandwiches. Heat griddle to medium; grill sandwiches until browned on both sides and cheese melts. Makes 4 servings.
